Valeter and Driver Full Job Description:

This role combines the responsibilities of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at designated work sites with the safe and timely transportation of client vehicles. The Valeter and Driver will ensure vehicles are presented in pristine condition, both internally and externally, while also providing reliable driving services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A driver for an independent auto repair shop, duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

• Concentrate on ensuring road safety.

• Ensure all safety requirements are met.

• Ensuring the cleanliness of vehicles.

• Providing high-quality valet services to clients, including parking and retrieving vehicles promptly and courteously.

• Communicate with customers by phone to update them on the time of vehicle pick up and drop off if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival.

• Contributing to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the company premises.

• Follows pre-planned route accurately without deviation from set course.

• Maintains communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule.

• Be prepared to assist in all areas of the business.

The candidate must be dependable and have good customer relations skills. We are looking to fill this role full-time and long term.

• Must have a UK driver's license

• No driving disqualifications within the last 3 years

• Knowledge of the area to know which back roads to take when necessary.

• The ability to remain calm under pressure, for instance, when driving in inclement weather conditions

• Basic knowledge of computers, handheld devices and relevant electronic applications

• Good communication skills to follow instructions, work with colleagues and deal with clients

• Ability to work under pressure

• Ability to work on a team

• Be physically fit

Shift & Schedule: 07:30 - 17:30 Monday - Friday

08:00 - 13.00 Saturday
